Groovemuse is pleased to announce Chris Hammer will be performing live art upstairs at Smiths the night of the Winter Soulstice! Chris is amazing and are looking forward to his creations!

Thanks to the crew over at Tree Sound Studios we will be powering the Atlanta Room at Smiths with a portable solar rig! The entire room, lights and sound will be powered by the sun! Pretty coll huh!

Our line up for the music is final!! We have White Lightening and the Quiet Storm, The Grain, Picture Me Free, It's Elephants, Josh Phillips Folk Festival, and Eddy Fontane!! We are thrilled to have such a killer line up this year and can not wait to rock Smiths!

Groovemuse is happy to announce another band!! We have signed Picture Me Free! We are thrilled to have this dynamic 5 piece originally from Clemson that has recently relocated to Nashville. If you like killer instrumentals with soul driven vocals you need to check these guys out. Please click their name to check out their site!

The Soulstice train is chuggin right along!! We just confirmed It's Elephant's and Trey Rosenkampff for the main stage at Smiths Old Bar!! More coming!! Please check out their sites and sounds, Its Elephants is an incredible band with a fusion of blues, soul, jazz, and just about any other style that makes your booty shake! And Trey... well Trey is 14 years old and i think his music speaks for itself... check him out already!! If you would like to perform an acoustice set please email Skip before October 17th!!

Also please do not forget our good friend Abdullah is kicking off a one month run at the Artistry in midtown TONIGHT!!! His work is amazing and i encourage everyone to swing by to night and show some love!

We have found a venue and a beneficiary for Winter Soulstice 2008!! The 2nd annual Winter Soulstice Art Jam will take place at Smiths Old Bar on Sunday December 14th! An awesome organization called WonderRoot will be the beneficiary!! Please check out their site by clicking www.wonderroot.org. We also pleased to announce Eddy Fontane will be joining us again this year after an incredible performance last year at Variety! 2007 Winter soulstice art jam

Check out our upcoming Winter Soulstice Benefit December 15th raising contributions for Let There Be Music a local nonprofit. The organization offers the gift of music to neglected and abused children by providing them with used instruments and musical instruction by volunteers. The Groovemuse plan is to hold an assembly of quality musicians, artsits, and fans in an effort to raise awareness and capital for this valuable local organization. Come help by participating in this valuable community event.

We invite artists of all types to participate, exhibit their work, and bring their friends and fans. Community involvement is a key element of the Groovemuse philosophy, and we know none of this is possible without you. Tickets can be purchased through Groovemuse or Variety Playhouse directly from Ticketmaster.com
